The communication approach, style and tone you use depends on the client, customer or audience targeting. Radio and podcasting is relaxed and confessional, but for a performance or presentation you need to be hitting certain marks, during the beginning, middle and end. Varying the dynamics, knowing when to be casual, when to be formal and where to place emphasis in a presentation is key to a convincing performance.
